Year two, new location. After the warmth of Cascade Lake in 2020, North Lake delivered the opposite: cold temperatures and snow. Nobody complained. The rigs came out for the first time on a Mayday trip, KD2MYS had the tent and the HF rig up in short order, and KD2WFX worked the VHF side while conditions were hit or miss.
Something about the cold and the lake and the radio tent combination worked. North Lake became the answer to "where are we going this year?" and it hasn't changed since.
