The 2024 trip took the crew to Haskell Road — a change of scenery from North Lake, and a good one. The drive in was as scenic as ever, a reminder of how far removed from everything the campsite really is.
Radio conditions cooperated. KD2MYS made contacts on 40 meters in the evenings when the band opened up. The boys put in time on the trail while the rigs warmed up.
Two days went by fast, as they always do. Camp was struck Sunday morning with the usual reluctance.
